Practical Gradings for Kids are held twice a year and are compulsory for all Mini Martial, Junior & Youth Jiu Jitsu students. Rather than demonstrating techniques individually at the end of each term, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a practical tournament setting with their teammates. This creates a fun, supportive environment where students can test their skills in live matches.

Please note students will still be graded based on our normal prerequisites, including the 3 A’s:
✔ Attendance
✔ Attitude
✔ Ability

Open to students from Albany, Silverdale, Warkworth, Coast Academies & HBCMMA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to build confidence, gain experience, and test their skills amongst their teammates. Parents, please remember this is a casual competition with a strong emphasis on FUN and learning.
