** KIDS GI BJJ COMPETITION ** Coast Academy are proud to present an event open to ALL Tukaha Affiliated gyms and friends. This is a fantastic opportunity for regular competitors along with new students who would like to test their skills against their wider Jiu Jitsu family.

Exciting things to look forward to:

• Prizegiving – Trophies for 1st place, medals for 2nd & 3rd
• Double elimination (means each child will have at least two fights)
• NO Spectator Fees
• NO Coaches Fees
• Plenty of seating available
• 4 x Mats
• 1 x Coach allocated per mat
• Coffee Truck on site

Housekeeping:

• All competitors are required to weigh with their full Gi Uniform (kimono and belt)
• PLEASE make sure your child is within 1-2kgs of their registered weight at the weigh-in
• Registrations CLOSE 4th September, midnight
• $60 Competition Entry Fee per competitor
• Parents please remember this is a competition with an emphasis on FUN!
• We have a zero tolerance policy for confrontation towards any of our Referees or Table Staff
• The Referees decision is FINAL
• You may be asked to leave the event if you cannot comply with our ‘fair play’ rules
• Toilets and changing rooms are available at the event
• Please ensure finger and toenails are trimmed, hair is tied back and uniform meets standard SJJF requirements
• SJJF rules will be set for this tournament.

** FINAL REMINDER ** This is NOT the world champs, so please ensure we encourage our young competitors!
